Cody Whitlock

Cody is looking forward to continuing his singing career with Fiveplay. He became attuned to excellent choral singing as a seven year old in the Singing Y’ers Boys Choir. He spent six years singing with the group touring throughout the Continental United States and much of Europe. In the fall of 1995, he began singing professionally with Opera Illinois as Amahl in Amahl and the Night Visitors. He would reappear on several occasions as a feature guest performer with the company. Soon, at the University of Illinois, Cody sang with Aaron Siedband in The Other Guys. His three year stint with the group led him across the country and once again to Europe, performing for thousands at sites including Cardiff Castle, Royal Chapel of London, and Notre Dame in Paris. Aside from singing, Cody enjoys playing piano and violin, both of which he has played since grade school.
