Brian Siedband
Brian’s professional music career began in high school,
when he was selected to represent the Midwest in the
All-American High School Grammy Ensemble, a twenty-member
jazz choir that accompanied Kenny Loggins, Arturo
Sandoval and All-4-One. During his four years at the
University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, Brian
directed and performed with The Other Guys. Notable
performances with The Other Guys include placing third
in the 1996 National Championship of College A Cappella
at Lincoln Center, opening for Grease! on Broadway,
entertaining during the 1996 Democratic National Convention
in Chicago, opening for Clinton/Gore during their
1998 Urbana-Champaign visit, and national anthems
for a number of sports teams including the New York
Yankees, Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets. After
college, Brian toured the Caribbean, Hawaii and South
America as a singer aboard the Mercury, a Celebrity
cruise ship. Brian has also been seen recently in
Chicago productions of Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding (playing
Donny Dolce, Johnny Nunzio and Joey Vitale) and West
Side Story (playing Tony). In addition to singing
and acting, Brian writes his own music and plays guitar.
Brian is thrilled to be a part of Fiveplay, and proud
and honored to be performing professionally alongside
his younger brother. |
